A political support group U-Advocates for Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has commended the Governor for appointing Dr Ekerete Ekanem as Commissioner for Youth Development.
The group described the Honourable Commissioner for Youth Development as a worthy ambassador of U-Advocates, and urged him to inject his wealth of experience in changing the narrative on youth empowerment.
In a statement jointly signed by Obong Etiene Abasi Ukpong and Mr. Samuel Ukut, the group pledged continued support for the Governor and his administration.
“We want to register our profound gratitude for the choice of Dr. Ekerete Ekanem to serve in your cabinet of distinguished commissioners as commissioner of Youth Development.
“Dr. Ekanem had worked hard with the rest of us in U-Advocates in ensuring an unwavering support for the ARISE AGENDA which is the fulcrum of this government.
“We share in the joy of his inclusion at the executive level of your government and we take an indication of impending good tidings for U-Advocates.
