Female young adults have been charged to break limitations and flourish in their respective fields of endeavour.
The charge came during the maiden edition of their Women Conference tagged “Her Era: Favoured to Flourish” held at the Deeper Life Young Adult Church,Uyo, on Saturday August 15.
The gathering, which had over 150 young female adults in attendance under the behest of seasoned practitioners, afforded participants opportunity to learn about intricacies of life, career, marriage, business and spiritual development.

Setting the tone for the conference,the convener, a University Don, Dr. Fidel Ekanikpong encouraged participants to engage in all the sessions by asking relevant questions in line with the theme, adding that every session was hinged on the word favour.
Drawing lessons from the theme of the programme, “Favoured to Flourish”, Prof. Uduak Joseph urged participants to leverage biblical principles such as uncompromising integrity, hard work, humility,character, virtues and social capital to create wealth, sustain business and excellence at work.
Another speaker, Dr. Uduak-Obong Morgan who reinstated God’s desire for everyone to be healthy, identified eight (8) pillars of wellness: spiritual, physical, emotional, intellectual, social and relational friendship amongst others.
In her charge, “Favoured in Love”,Barr. Valerie David spurred the participants to live in harmony amongst themselves in the spirit of sisterhood. She reminded them that having a godly marriage begins with self preparation and determination to stay in God as there is no exit after entry.

The Principal of Deeper Life High School, Mrs. Uwemediso Rahila through her soul captivating and spiritual renewal session, reminded the participants that being favoured is a privilege, warning them against taking God for granted or trading disobedience for convenience, and purpose for pleasure .
The participants were overjoyed at the impact of the conference. They were charged to flourish in their era as the theme suggests. Each session was an eye opener as it thrived on real life experiences , trending issues and its effects on society.

Reacting to the programme, one of the participants, Ekere-Obong Silas expressed satisfaction particularly during the panel discussion and wished the programme be held often.
Another participant Ukemeobong Okon averred she was blessed during the sessions, describing the programme as an eye-opener to a lot of issues.
