Ekpene Ukim Community, Uruan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, has allegedly snubbed the Deputy Governor of the state, Senator Akon Eyakenyi, over the mediatory role she played to end a land dispute that lasted for 76 years. In a bid to increase food production and availability in Akwa Ibom, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, has distributed farm inputs and various seedlings to more farmers and over 135 primary and secondary schools in the state.
