The University Don, who was in a hot seat this morning started by appreciating the people of Akwa Ibom Northeast Senatorial District for the prayers, support, and solidarity shown to the Senator. Dr Edem empathetically apprised that apart from Hon Unyime Idem of Ukanafun and Oruk Anam Federal Constituency, who had sent many of his constituents for training in China, Senator Aniekan Bassey a Senate Committee Chairman on Diaspora Nongovernmental Organizations NGOs had followed a similar empowerment route by sending some brilliant youths from the Senatorial District to China for training and some of them who are back have impacted positively on the State and National economy at this point.
