The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Akwa Ibom State University(AKSU) chapter is set to begin indefinite strike today June 3, 2025 by 12 noon. The academic staff have accused the Akwa Ibom State Government of paying deaf ears to their demands despite several letters from the union. The family of late Iniubong Umoren has threatened to sue Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan following a comment attributed to her where she alleged that the deceased organs were harvested for Senator Godswill Akpabio wife’s health.
