Stakeholders in the fight against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in Akwa Ibom State have called for improved data management, stronger coordination and increased funding to enhance the prevention of and response to GBV cases across the state. The stakeholders made the call at the third-quarter GBV Technical Working Group (TWG) meeting held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the conference room of the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Welfare.
