Apostle Paul Odola, the General Overseer Dominion Power Assembly International has alleged that Pastor Abel Damina of Power City International Church, Uyo has been persuading him to undermine Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Centre.
The cleric alleged that Damina has been persuading him through phone calls to undermine Pastor Paul Enenche as well as project and sustain the narrative that he Damina ordained Dr Enenche with the intent to perpetually tie him to his ministerial apron.
The allegation which was written by Paul Odola, first published on Church Gist, an online platform, had Apostle Odola challenging Damina to deny the allegation and he would come out with audio evidence of his claims.
The piece titled, “I am tired of the unholy alliance to try to rubbish Dr Paul Enenche”, argued that Abel does not need false claim to validate his religious status or the global impact of Dr Paul Enenche to authenticate his spiritual authority.
“My attention has been drawn to the videos where Rev Joshua Talena and myself purportedly claimed that Dr Abel Damina ordained Dr Paul Enenche.
“Having been involved in their lives and ministry from 1988, I know what they know, we know what we know. It was a connivance by us championed by Dr (sic) Abel Damina to project and sustain that narrative that he ordained Dr Enenche with the intent to perpetually tie him to Dr Abel’s ministerial apron. I and Joshua Talena were instructed to enforce it at every given opportunity to embarrass Dr Paul’s association with Bishop David Oyedepo and undermine Dr Paul’s humongous ministerial impact and achievements.
“I have been under perpetual pressure to put out a picture i have from the 1996 ministers conference where Dr Paul was in attendance in his brief association with us. As you can see on my page, on the 25th of July (2024) Dr (sic) Abel called me and was mocking and encouraging me to bring the picture, publish it and reinforce that false ordination claim and narrative that Dr Paul’s claim of being different from us should be rubbished.
“I don’t intend to join issues with Dr Abel or Joshua Talena but if any of them directly deny this assertion, I WILL PUT OUT THE VOICE NOTE of the 25th of July where Dr Damina was mockingly persuading me to undermine Dr Paul (Enenche) by enforcing that false ordination narrative. I wont respond to bloggers but (only a) direct refutal by Dr Damina. (I am) Tired of the false narrative and my involvement in the unholy alliance, i have chosen to put the record factually straight to save the ‘church’ the insanity of this false claim. I dont think that Dr (sic) Abel needs the false claim to validate his religious status or the global impact of Dr Paul Enenche to authenticate his spiritual authority. The ministerial achievements and global impact of Dr Enenche does not in anyway reflect Dr Abel’s pattern and style of ministry. Honour should be given to whom honour is due. That massiveness of ministerial proportion can only be associated with the likes of Bishop Oyedepo. Dr Paul’s brief association is not a reason to lay claims. IF I HEAR PIM AGAIN…nobody should blame my next outburst.”
Responding to an email on behalf of Dr. Abel Damina, Pastor Matthew denied the allegation. Part of the message reads, “Papa has never and will never call anyone to undermine anybody.
“There is nothing about their relationship that papa has not declared in public space. Everything about their service in ministry is a well know public fact. I call you blessed.” Pst Matthew.
