The Board of Trustees, Brotherhood of The Cross has announced the resolution of the internal crisis which has plagued the organization for past 24 years.
The new Board of Trustees, also clarified that His Holiness Roland Olumba Obu is not God as his followers acclaimed to be and as such, they can never recognize him as God stressing that the age long crisis caused by the deplorable antics of the faction loyal to His Holiness Roland Olumba Obu, the second child of their Leader has been brought to an end by the registration of the Board of Trustees
The Chairman of the new Board of Trustees, Sister Victoria Clarke made this known to newsmen in Uyo on Wednesday February 26 at the World Headquarters Secretariat, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Sister Clark informed the press that the battle that has rocked Brotherhood of the Cross and Star for the last twenty four years is finally over with the registration of a new Board of Trustees for the kingdom.

She described the trustees as men and women of proven integrity, saddled with the responsibility of administrating the affairs of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star.
“Our mission today is twofold. Firstly we come to give you the good news that the battle that has rocked Brotherhood of the Cross and Star for the last twenty four years is finally over with the registration of a new Board of Trustees for the kingdom.
“These trustees are specially chosen men and women of proven integrity. They are now at the helm of affairs of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. They are the only body recognized by law, to administer the affairs of the kingdom and to represent it in all matters worldwide. This heralds a new dawn for the Brotherhood where the beauty of the kingdom will be displayed to the world”.
Refuting claims by the followers of Roland Olumba Olu as God and setting the record straight on the twenty four years old internal factional crises, she said there have been so many misconceptions caused by faction loyal to His Holiness Roland Olumba Olu.
“What we expect of His Holiness Roland Obu (whom his followers acclaim to be God) was to behave as a man of God, embracing all members with love, and seeking a peaceful resolution to the crisis.
“But the reverse was the case and his members embarked on a string of bethel invasions, court cases and Police reports all over the country and nations of the world under his watch. No responsible religious organization conducts itself in such a shameful and disgraceful manner.
“The violence perpetrated by our adversaries in the last twenty-four years has been a disgrace to the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star and has soiled the reputation of this great Kingdom. These actions are alien to the Brotherhood and contrary to the recondite teachings of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu”.
“The other aspect of our mission is to inform and enlighten all people about the true nature of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. This is imperative because there have been so many misconceptions caused by the deplorable antics of the faction loyal to His Holiness Roland Olumba Obu, the second child of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu”. Chairman, Board of trustees
“Let it be known by all and sundry that there is one Head of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star and that is Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, the Sole Spiritual Head, the long awaited Promised Comforter. He has no assistant and no deputy”, Clarke said.
The Trustee Chairman emphasised that the religious group holds His Holiness Roland Olumba Obu in high regard as the second child of the Leader; however, he is not God and will never be acknowledged as such, adding that Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is neither a militant organisation nor a family business, contrary to some portrayals.
During her explanation of the true nature of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, Sister Clarke noted that earlier misconceptions about the group stemmed from the unfortunate actions of a faction loyal to His Holiness Roland Obu.
“Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is a religion of peace as exemplified by our official greeting, “Peace” and our Motto which is “Love, Faith and Hope”. We are taught to love one one another irrespective of colour, creed, or political affiliation.
“Our official uniform is white soutane, our holy garment (Rev 7:13-14). We do not wear purple, blue, green, or multi-colored soutanes. We do not have covenant boxes, white handkerchiefs, or blow giant horns.
“We do not have such positions as Eminences, Patriarchs, Ambassadors, Vanguards, Blessed Mothers, etc. We walk barefoot in deference to God (Exodus 3:4-5). We revere and pray in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, through whom we obtain forgiveness of our sins.
“This is the time for us to display to the world the true image of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, the new kingdom of God on earth, where righteousness dwells. We are angels of peace. Our arms are outstretched to welcome individuals who desire to worship the true God in a way we have been taught by our father”.
